ICIE delegation took part in 5th Session of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK)

A report on the Confederation’s activities during the preceding period was presented and a discussion on the business environment in Azerbaijan was held at the scheduled 5th Session of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK). In addition, key areas for developing Azerbaijani business community’s future commercial activities were determined. A substantial focus during the Session was on the Confederation’s global pursuits, including its collaboration with the ICIE, the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and many other international associations.  New members of the Directorate, the Presidium and the Audit Commission of the Confederation were elected.

Mammad Musayev was re-elected as the President of the Confederation for another 4-year term.

The President of the Congress, Artem Chayka, passed on a friendly greeting to the Session participants.

Distinguished guests and speakers, who took part in the Session, included the Chairman of the ICIE Council, Vasile Tarlev, and the First Executive ICIE Vice President, Vyacheslav Pshenichnikov, who talked about ICIE’s current work that could be relevant and mutually useful for the Confederation, the Session participants and members of business entities and communities of the Republic.
