ICIE is increasing its presence in Asia-Pacific region

Beijing, 11 December 2018

The President of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE, the Congress), Artem Chayka, and the Secretary-General of China Overseas Development Association (CODA), He Zhenwei, signed a Cooperation Agreement.

Over the last two decades, the Congress has maintained relationships with reputable public associations and organizations from Chinese business circles, such as CRFA (China and Russia Friendship Association) led by its President Chen Yuan. Last year ICIE signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation with the Russia-China Regional Development Investment Fund (RDIF), headed by the Chairman Wang Feng.

“Today we have signed an Agreement with yet another reputable organization, China Overseas Development Association (CODA) led by He Zhenwei. These agreements are a firm foundation for developing mutually beneficial relations and implementing various projects and programs between members of the Congress and partners from the People’s Republic of China,” said the ICIE President Artem Chayka.

It would be pertinent to remind our readers that practical assistance to businessmen is provided by the ICIE Representative Office in the Asia-Pacific region, established in Vladivostok, and by the Coordination Council of the Cooperation with business associations of Asia.

Earlier, during a working visit to China, the ICIE President Artem Chayka participated in the opening of a trade show pavilion featuring Russian products in China, and in the Russia-China Forum on trade, economic and culture cooperation, and also hosted a number of meetings with members of the Chinese business community and PRC’s media outlets.
