Signing of the Cooperation Agreement with the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region

On Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in the office of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE or Congress) was a meeting of the ICIE leadership, led by President Artem Chayka and representatives of the Government of the Ulyanovsk region, led by Governor Sergey Morozov.

In a conversation from the ICIE partisipated: Vyacheslav Pshenichnikov – first executive vice-president, Valeriy Kazyulin – deputy chairman of the ICIE Council, Irina Mitrokhin – Managing Director of the organizational office. From the Ulyanovsk region: Tatiana Murdasova – Deputy Governor, Head of the Regional Representation in Moscow, Ruslan Gainetdinov – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation “Corporation for the Development of Entrepreneurship of the Ulyanovsk Region”.

During the meeting, issues of mutual cooperation were discussed, including the assistance of the ICIE in integrating the Ulyanovsk region enterprises into international production chains. The region is ready to act as a supplier of high-quality products in the sphere of machine building, woodworking, food industry, instrument making. Interest was expressed in attracting innovative foreign technologies, participation of production enterprises from countries represented in the Congress in the regional subcontracting exchange.

The topic of organizing the promotion of Ulyanovsk production through the international platform Dakaitaowa.com was discussed. As a positive example, Sergey Morozov told about the company “Simbirsk Atelier” (production of chocolate, sweets and cookies of premium class), which enters the Chinese market through this platform. Ulyanovsk food producers such as Volzhanka (production of mineral water), Jupiter-Logistics (production of alcoholic beverages), etc. are also ready for multilateral cooperation. The Ulyanovsk region is ready to offer machine tools (the company “Ulyanovsk factory of heavy and unique machines”), solutions for vibrodiagnostics (JSC “Promservice”), control and measuring equipment (Industrial group “MIDA”, “GC Tulz”Ltd.) and monitoring systems (“Sigard”Ltd.).

The ICIE specialists are instructed to study the list of commercial projects of the region and their active implementation with the participation of members and partners of the Congress.

As a result of the meeting, the Cooperation Agreement was signed. It was decided to prepare a plan for joint practical actions to implement its provisions.

Sergey Morozov invited the ICIE leadership to visit the Ulyanovsk region, organize a series of mutual events and discuss promising programs for further joint work, take part in the forthcoming Forum “Business Climate in Russia” in Ulyanovsk.
