Signing of the cooperation agreement between ICIE and Northeast Asia Future Forum (NAFF)

Vladivostok, November 8, 2017.

The Administration of Primorsky Krai hosted a meeting with Evgeny Rusetskiy, representative of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE or Congress), and O Ko Don, the Chairman of NAFF.

The cooperation agreement between NAFF and the ICIE was signed. The Congress was the main initiator and organizer of the visit of the South Korean delegation to Primorsky Krai. The head of the business delegation from Busan – the Chairman of NAFF, a famous South Korean political and public figure, and ex-minister of fisheries and transport of the Republic of Korea, O Ko Don thanked the Congress for assisting in the preparation of the meeting and expressed the hope for successful mutual cooperation.

The representatives of Primorsky Krai presented to the guests from the Republic of Korea detailed information on the investment potential of the region and spoke about new tools designed specifically to support Russian and foreign businesses, the Vladivostok Free Zone Development Regime and the Free Port Authority.

The parties emphasized that for the effective development of relations between the territories it is strategically important to organize similar meetings. In the framework of such dialogues, partners can exchange experience and reach an agreement on the implementation of new projects aimed at the development of the entire Asia-Pacific region.

The ICIE President Artem Chayka noted the high potential of this agreement for all participants of the Congress and expressed confidence in the development of relations with South Korean partners.
