On 16 April 2019, the regular General Meeting of Association “Business Centre for CIS Economic Development”, which brought together members of the Business Centre, representatives of the CIS Executive Committee and heads of business unions and associations, took place.

The Director General of the Association Vladimir Savchenko and the Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the Association Anatoly Kazakov reported on the work of the International Economic Forum of the CIS Member States “CIS: digital economy – integration platform”, as well as elaborated on the activities of the Business Centre during the reporting period and plans for 2019.

The International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE, the Congress) was represented at the Council by Vyacheslav Pshenichnikov, ICIE’s First Executive Vice-President, acting on behalf of President Artem Chaika. In his speech, he noted that the Congress has been cooperating with the structures and executive bodies of the Commonwealth since June 2010. All these directions should be taken into account during preparation and implementation of joint work plans.

return, the Business Centre expressed its readiness for further multidimensional cooperation.
